Dr Suzanne Aussems is an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Warwick (since July 2025), having previously served as an Assistant Professor there from July 2020. She earned her BA (2007–2010) and MA (2010–2012) degrees in Culture Studies from Tilburg University, followed by a joint MPhil in Language and Communication (2012–2014) from Tilburg University and Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
She completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Warwick (2014–2017) and subsequently held two postdoctoral fellowships at Warwick (2017–2019). She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in developmental psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London (2019–2020).
